Deleting your RacketDay profile
You delete the profile yourself, from the app or from a browser. This page says how to do it, what exactly disappears, what stays and after how long.
How to delete it
Sign in to RacketDay, open profile settings and press “Delete profile”. The product asks once more; after “Yes, delete profile” the request is accepted. You do not need to write to us for this.
If you cannot sign in
Write to privacy@racket.day. We will send a message or a code to the contact stored in the profile — otherwise anyone could ask us to delete someone else’s — and delete the profile ourselves. We do not ask for documents or scans.
When it happens
After the request you get 30 days to change your mind. The profile works as usual for all of that time. Once the term is over it is anonymized automatically, and that cannot be undone.
What is erased
The phone number, email address, the Telegram and Apple links, the password, device addresses for notifications and undelivered messages. First and family name become “Player #N”. Year of birth, gender, country, playing hand and court side are erased. After that nothing can sign in to this profile.
What stays
Match scores, standings and rating — already under “Player #N”. Those results belong to your opponents and to the tournament table as well: striking them out would mean rewriting somebody else’s tournament. The command log — who did what — is kept for 24 months and deleted once the term is over.
Changing your mind
While the 30 days have not run out, open profile settings and press “Cancel”. The request is dropped entirely; nothing needs restoring.
